Hackfort 2025 Sponsors
Our Journey
Hackfort began in 2014 as a small gathering of tech enthusiasts nestled within the larger Treefort Music Fest. Over the years, it has blossomed into an essential part of the festival, mirroring Boise’s rise as a tech-savvy city and solidifying Hackfort’s role in fostering a community where technology and creativity converge. Each edition of Hackfort stands as a testament to our dedication to this vibrant intersection.
Mission
We believe technology should be accessible to all. Our mission is to democratize technology and tech culture by offering opportunities to learn, connect, and have fun with tech while also pushing its boundaries for the betterment of our community. As part of Treefort Music Fest, the first music festival to become a B-corp, Hackfort is community-motivated and mission-driven, not profit-focused.
The Hackfort Experience
Each year, Hackfort transforms Boise into a vibrant hub for tech enthusiasts. We curate a diverse range of activities, including engaging workshops and panel discussions led by industry experts, showcases of cutting-edge tech innovations and startups, networking events connecting professionals, hobbyists, and students, and interactive installations that blend technology with art. It’s a space where curiosity sparks innovation, and connections ignite new possibilities.
Being part of Treefort Music Fest allows attendees to experience a unique blend of music, art, and tech. Treefort’s ethos as a festival of discovery perfectly aligns with our vision at Hackfort. Join us at Hackfort, where the spirit of discovery and the power of technology come together to create an unforgettable experience.
